I have connections to victims of 3 separate Mass Shootings. This project began the year that I enrolled my child in school.

Each domino is clear, standard-size, and topped with 24K gold leaf. The installation is comprised of 6,000 free-standing pieces.. The largest high-school in the US has 6,000 students.

I place each piece by hand. The dominoes are not secured to a base, and so may fall down when turbulence is introduced, igniting a chain reaction that does not have a pre-determined path. Then I start again.
